The University Libraries are open to use by guest users for the purposes of research, learning, information seeking, and all related academic activities. Visitors to the Library may use the following resources, based on availability and applicable guidelines.
During the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., access to the University Libraries is limited to Florida A & M University students, faculty, and staff, and students and faculty from the state of Florida college and university systems. Persons in the library during these hours may be required to show appropriate identification in order to remain in the library. Affiliation as an alumni of the University, does not qualify one to be a guest user during hours of restricted access.
Guest users must follow all applicable library policies and procedures as well as all campus policies and procedures. Guest users are not allowed to access areas that are restricted for staff access only. Violation of any policy and/or procedure may result in limitations of access to the University Libraries.
Visitors may use public computers after one has registered at the Help Desk to request a guest access login. Registration requires a valid, state issued identification card or license. Registration allows temporary access, which may be subject to time limitations. During times of high demand, such as mid-terms and final exams, priority for use will be reserved for currently enrolled students, faculty and staff.

Books and other materials may be used within the library only. Guest users may request access to print materials through the interlibrary loan services available from their affiliated library. Borrowing privileges are available for students, faculty, and staff from the state of Florida college and university systems.
Guest users may receive reference assistance, during hours of availability.
Guest users may not use reserved study spaces, without prior approval by the Library Administration.
Guest users do not have checkout privileges for any type of equipment or materials.
