Research Identification Number

Establishing a research identification number offers many benefits to support your research and publishing activities:

  • Connects your published work over the course of your career, and institutional affiliations.
  • Creates a connected portfolio of your scholarly work that is easily accessible.
  • Distinguishes your work from that of other authors, with the same,  or similar names.
  • Meets requirements from publishing houses and grant agencies that require a unique identification number.

Please investigate two of the most common options below to determine which one is best for you.
