About Our Information Literacy Program

The Association of College and Research Library defines information literacy as a set of abilities requiring individuals to "recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate and use effectively" the needed information.    ACRL Information Literacy Standards

The University Libraries have an Information Literacy Program to assist students in learning how to do college-level research.  We tailor sessions to your class assignment and can host sessions in our Information Literacy Classroom - 410 Coleman, or come to your classroom.
