Online Research

In summer, you're able to use your Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg Law passwords to conduct outside legal research, even if you're working for a for-profit company!

Lexis Advance: If you have lost your ID, contact Vicki Pyles at (352) 615-6964 or vicki.pyles@lexisnexis.com. You may also call the Lexis helpline 24/7 at 1-800-45-LEXIS.

Westlaw: If you have lost your ID, contact Philip Hadley at (239) 218-4945 or philip.hadley@tr.com. You may also call the Westlaw helpline 24/7 at 1-800-WESTLAW.

BloombergLaw: You must sign up for a BloombergLaw ID, if you haven't already. Go to www.bloomberglaw.com, click "Law Schools," then "Register for a Law School Account." You must sign up using your famu.com email address.
